BENEFITS OF SPORTS

The benefits of sports at a young age

Abandoned the life of a performance athlete, I had the opportunity to coach several children between the ages of 7-12 for 3 years. I have noticed, both in myself and in them, that sport has visible benefits at such an early stage of life. the benefits of sports for children Me in the position of handball coach during the time when I was training children Integration into a group of strangers New groups, new people and different environments are constantly waiting for you throughout the years.

 School, moving to another
neighborhood/city or country, entering high school, entering college, changing jobs, etc. Whenever you make such a change you will have to integrate into a new environment or group. Sport helps you break these barriers of integration into a group. Among the benefits of sport and how it helps you fit into a group or team are: the openness to make new friends lessening the embarrassment of speaking around other people greater emotional stability that helps you relate and integrate more easily increasing the level of popularity Increasing the level of competitiveness Recently, in a job interview, I was asked the question "What do you think about competitiveness in the workplace?" I believe that competitiveness is good and in no way makes you a worse person. In a non-competitive environment people tend to be the same. When you're young, it's absolutely necessary to want to be better than others, and sports will give you that chance, and the biggest advantage is that it'll help you be competitive in the right way! Competitiveness in individual sports is about making you better, and competitiveness in a team sport makes you want to be better with your teammates, which will indirectly make you better. They will help you be better, and you will help them be better. Sport means discipline, work, intelligence, continuous learning, perseverance - and from my point of view, all this means competitiveness!

Physical development

If you want to have a beautiful body, to grow big and strong, then sport is the solution at a young age. My opinion is that if you start at a young age with this motivation and thought in mind, then you have a chance to have a well-maintained body for most of your life. body posture (back posture, walking) mobility muscle development and bone strengthening increase in strength/"muscle" (athletes talk a lot about this "muscle", which is a bit different than strength) Developing the body in a healthy way Without making medical referrals, without just and perhaps one of the biggest benefits of sports is the healthy development of the body. Sport helps you grow healthy, increases the level of immunity in the body, helps the lungs, heart and basically all internal organs. Sport gives you an appetite, makes you energetic every day, helps your mind to develop beautifully. Due to the fact that you do sports, you will take care to drink a lot of water, eat fruits and vegetables to get energy from food, sleep more and move constantly. Increasing the degree of responsibility and discipline In my opinion, the benefits of sports on the personal development side are the maturation from younger ages and the degree of responsibility you acquire relatively quickly. Sports are important because they teach you that you have to work hard, train daily, stick to a schedule, respect your teammates and your coach. By always doing things according to a schedule, according to a certain rhythm, you will learn to be responsible both at school and at home. Everywhere you go you will be treated differently because the world admires disciplined athletes, respects them and trusts them to be hardworking and serious.

The importance of playing sports at any age One thing common to all people who practice constant/regular sports is the fact that they have a healthy lifestyle, both from a medical, physical and mental point of view. Isn't it the case that sports and exercise in general do not take age into account? I have seen very old people running, hiking, doing yoga, dancing or going to the gym. It's normal, and I'm no longer surprised when I see an older man doing sports.

The medical importance of sports can be very easily measured and observed! A person who practices movement (not necessarily a specific sport, but any kind of movement) has more energy, less health problems (at least when we refer to chronic problems).
